Desty's mission is to make digital commerce available for everyone. Founded in September 2020, in the midst of the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, we see the urgent needs of a great tool for a fast-growing community of people who want to start their own business. Our solution is a digital platform that serves as a single online destination for creators, influencers, and merchants to promote and sell their products.  Desty currently offers many ecommerce solutions including Desty Omni, a system to manage your stocks and orders across marketplaces. 

Our founding team members are all Internet and e-commerce veterans, with extensive experience from well-known Chinese, SEA & US tech companies such as Alibaba, Google, Facebook, Gojek, Lazada, etc. We run remotely right now with headquarters in both Jakarta and Hangzhou, China.

Currently we are looking for a passionate and driven individual to fill up Merchant Community Intern position. 

Responsibilites:
  • Become an expert on Desty products, offer technical assistance to Merchants Community through presentations, proposals, and others.
  • Ability to respond to merchants' inquiries and concerns professionally and in a timely manner 
  • Identify and establish relationships, negotiate, secure, and maintain partnerships with key business and community partners for Merchant Community.
  • Develop and execute creative ideas for program development of Merchant Community align with the product target.
  • Report post-event evaluation after program execution for its improvement and reporting for relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to other tasks requested by the management team that are related to merchants relations (e.g. Onboarding, contacting merchants, etc)
Requirements:
  • Fresh graduate from any major/educational background with a strong understanding of partnerships and business development, communication or business major is a plus
  • Knowledge of trends and issues in e-commerce and community development is a plus
  • Understanding in developing community events with creative ideas and collaboration.
  • Outstanding in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Possess an ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines, and work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good english communication skill.
  • Able to do Hybrid working system.
