Who We Are
Desty's mission is to make digital commerce available for everyone. Founded in September 2020, in the midst of the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic, we see the urgent needs of a great tool for a fast-growing community of people who want to start their own business. Our solution is a digital platform that serves as a single online destination for creators, influencers, and merchants to promote and sell their products. Desty currently offers two products, a landing page generator called Desty Page and Desty Store, a service that allows users to create an online store complimentary to marketplaces.
Our founding team members are all Internet and e-commerce veterans, with extensive experience from well-known Chinese, SEA & US tech companies such as Alibaba, Google, Facebook, Gojek, Lazada, etc. We currently operate HQ offices in both Jakarta and Hangzhou, China.

Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, or recommendation system.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Experience working in cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Alibaba Cloud).
Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SLQ, etc.
Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and deploying the models to production.
Experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers: Google Analytics, Amplitude, Zendesk, etc.
Experience using visualization tools like Google Data Studio, Metabase, or Tableau.
